From their days as FEN Enterprises, the Cadillac Parts & Restoration (CPR) team has developed a strong reputation within the classic car community and plenty of industry media outlets have taken notice.
Classic Car magazine, Hemmings Motor News and Old Cars Weekly are among the more prominent publications that have written articles about their restoration prowess. But its not just auto-related media that's taken note. Hudson Valley is a prominent culture and lifestyle magazine covering New York State's beautiful and historic Hudson Valley region.
Back when she ran FEN Enterprises, Elsa Mauer Nicodemus caught the attention of the Hudson Valley editors. Of particular interest was her companies reputation for taking rusted relics and rebuilding them in to award-winning and museum-quality works of art.
They dispatched a writer and photographer to learn her story and the result was a beautifully-written article about her classic Cadillac restoration business. They titled the article "The Cadillac Queen" and the moniker stuck.
Although years have passed since the publication and she now runs CPR, her reputation remains and she remains at the top of the male-dominated auto restoration industry.
